Hatefest Part 2

from When Will You Die? by NCN

/

about

A telescoped version of 'When Will You Die?' by They Might Be Giants (sort of the piece that inspired this double-album/program). Midnight Voicejail's 'Hatefest' with a percussive piece in the background along with a voicemail message to a friend by Ronald. This continues, with an in studio argument between Phineas and Ronald (this appears in its entirety on NCN's album 'Work... In Progress'. This is mixed with a later work, DJ Silly's 'Blood Room Boogie' and this becomes part of 'You Don't Take Your Showers', an early demo by 'Weird Al' Yankovic (excerpted). The music for the original song, 'You Don't Bring Me Flowers' plays over an incredulous Ronald demanding a call back.
