This is volume three of the five volume set and is around an hour long.
It consists of material from 'The Subgenius Show' in the 1990's featuring incredible collages (and Narcollages) mixed with extemporaneous trance-spout extemporaneous riffing, psychedelic bulldada and, with the principle 'Doktors of the Air' at the time: Dr. Howll, Moebius Rex, Philo Drummond, Puzzling Evidence, Gary G'Broagfran, Papa Joe Mama. Also includes guest appearances by Janor Hypercleats, Ivan Stang and Don Joyce (of Negativland).
This show eventually became (some 20 years later) 'The Puzzling Evidence Show' (which is still on KPFA).
Also sprinkled throughout this volume, the Doktors make fun of the War on Drugs, Explain 'Frop'(tm), Hal turing into Hitler, show poetry, music from The Band That Dare Not Speak It's Name, Hal talks to the HAL 9000 Computer, and much more!.
Includes calls from Phineas Narco, Frank Bent, Customer Service and Serious Business.
Most of these mixes are edited clips from 'The Show' which was broadcast live at 4:30 on Saturday Mornings for the longest time, and offered some of the most frenetic, breakneck, and weeeeird live mix radio before, then, or since in the same vein as Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention, Firesign Theater, but with certainly it's own realm, sound and sensibility.

The companion set, the 'Best of the Subgenius Show' from the 80's is here:

These 'Best of' programs were post-mixed and edited together by Phineas Narco of the National Cynical Network. See the attendant credits for the original members and performers for 'The Show' which had a tremendous influence on NCN much later on.
Don't worry, it's just a show.
