about

The main part of this track is a part parody / part remix of the song 'Ballad of a Thin Man' by Bob Dylan.

For more info on the original Bob Dylan song 'Ballad of a Thin Man' see:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ballad_of_a_Thin_Man

Part of an experimental version of the song, done by Phobie Creek, heard at one point in the mix, can be found in its entirety here:

The opening material is from an appearance by Alex Jones on 'The Joe Rogan Experience' video podcast.

We also hear, later in the mix, material from The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, a news piece excerpt from MSNBC and audio from Jones' deposition at his defamation trial, brought against him by the parents of victims of the Sandy Hook School massacre. The shooting took place in December of 2012 in Newtown, Connecticut. For more information on this tragedy go here:

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sandy_Hook_Elementary_School_shooting

Jones falsely claimed for many years on his show that the shooting was a hoax, prompting many of his followers to stalk and harass many of the surviving family members.

The commentary / analytical voice heard on this track is Dr. Todd Grande. NCN hopes that Dr. Grande does not mind us using his voice as an integral part of this mix. We like and admire the work of Dr. Grande and encourage our listeners and subscribers to support his work. We feel that he is a worthwhile and even important objective voice that often acts as a 'Greek chorus' in so many tragedies such as these. We also appreciate his dry yet amusing sense of humor. Thank you, Dr. Grande, for your interesting and insightful work.

The song right after the end of the Dr. Grande mix is called 'Fuck Alex Jones' and it is by Sole & DJ Pain off of their 'WARFARE EP' and is available here:

Like the original Dylan piece (which came out in the 1960s and coincidentally portrays a man whose last name is 'Jones') this NCN piece is meant to portray a man who is in a confusing situation in which he finds himself, in some strange psychedelic way, 'in over his head'.

Alex Jones DOES offer and project this version of himself, AS A DEFENSE, on The Joe Rogan Show, as we hear early on in the track, as somebody who is in a state of disorientation to the point of psychosis as a result of his brain being long-term steeped in years of 'conspiracy theory' research, and that this dis-orientation was the cause of his actionable actions.

Our point, as elicited by the mixed in analysis by Dr. Grande, is that Jones IS disoriented, but his confusion is a moral one, rather than psychiatric. Jones STILL does not appreciate, or can evaluate, what he is doing or what he has done. The results of his actions do not make sense to him.

Like the 'Mr. Jones' character in the iconic Dylan song, Jones now finds himself 'in over his head' as a result of his immoral actions. He lacks a moral compass.

Some of the content of the early-on Oleson piece with Gary Busey has a bearing on the later-heard Dylan song remix, in particular Busey's deconstruction of the word 'NOW' and how this moment is set up to appear to be referenced in Dylan's age-old lyrics, in the latter part of the original, referenced 'Thin Man' song.

The character in the song that hands the enigmatic character of 'Jones''s throat back and says 'thanks for the loan' is meant to retro-actively reference Trump in this piece. This is because Jones was an important mouthpiece and advocate of the Trump agenda, and Trump, during his rise to power although their relationship seems to have soured since then, particularly over the covid vaccine issue.

Jones, at the time of the creation of the program that this track is from, had been subpoenaed by the congressional commission investigating the January 6th, 2021 uprising at the nation's capitol, an event which Jones could be heard bellowing 'If they want a fight, then they will get one!' from his mega-phone to the cheering, attending crowd.

So, in a sense, for a while at least, Jones' 'throat' was truly 'on loan' to Trump. Like in the original song.

From Jones' conscience-deprived and morally-occluded point of view, something is indeed happening... but he 'don't know what it is'.

Perhaps, he never will.
