Cold Weasels Ripped My Brains (Long Version)

from Coming Back to Life (The Zombie ApocaRemix) by NCN

/

about

This is the last track of Disk 1 of this 2 disk set.

The long intro to the song which is the centerpiece of this track includes some music played live by Big City Orchestra. We hear the sound of zombies and a newscast giving instructions to the public. A zombie yells for brains. Various sound effects are heard and then several zombies are heard calling for 'brains'. A clip from Star Trek 'Brain brain! What is Brain!'

Phineas softly says 'Brains'.

A remix / cover / re-interpretation of Beck's 'Cold Brains' co-sung with the original track by Phineas and mixed with a clip about rabid weasels at the end (from 'Return of the Living Dead') is heard next. The flute part during the solo bridge of the song is played by Ninah Pixie of Big City Orchestra live in an on-air studio. A mechanical voice can be heard giving rules for survival during a zombie attack.
