Goodbye Cruel Will

from When Will You Die? by NCN

/

about

The piece 'Don't Go' from the early effort 'Cauldron of Agony' mashes up two resuscitation scenes one from 'The Abyss' (1989) and 'Flatliners' (1990). They are tied together by a passionate blues song.

This segues into the track 'The Choice' from the same album 'Cauldron of Agony'. Excerpted samples are from The Little Mermaid, The Phantom of the Opera, and Jesus Christ Superstar. It is held together by the piece 'Kondole' in the background by Psychic T.V.

This changes into a Neil Cicierega's mashup 'Goodbye' which reiterates the meth theme from earlier since it utilizes 'Semi-Charmed Kind of Life' by Third Eye Blind. We hear a phone call to Ray (of Raymond and Peter fame) mixed into the first half of this mashup. An NCN mod of an acoustic version of Noel Gallagher's cover of 'Goodbye Cruel World' originally by Pink Floyd is heard. We hear the GCW (Remix) by CTEPHIN from the Various Artist album 'Deconstructing the Wall' this leads into an NCN mod of a male voice cover of the song 'Let it Go' originally from the soundtrack to Disney's movie 'Frozen' (2014). Caleb Hyles sings it and only a portion of the song is represented in this program.

This leads into the 'finale' of the program which is an NCN mod (heavily abridged version) of 'Goodbye, Goodbye' by Oingo Boingo. This song originally appeared on the soundtrack of 'Fast Times at Ridgemont High'.

At the end of the track we hear a sample of Porky Pig and the NCN program outro.
