This is the last 'track' of 'Disc Two' (of Four) of this program.

Best if listened to with headphones as some of the talking is 'down in the mix'.

In an interview, Frank recounts his meeting with John and Yoko Lennon amidst their live improvisational performance with each other at the Filmore East on June 5th, 1971. Frank tells about how John and Yoko appropriated (probably mistakenly or accidentally) Frank's song 'King Kong'. More clips from the A&E promo spot for the Biography episode of Frank Zappa. The interviewer who introduced the trio talks about the meeting he set up. A portion of 'A Small Eternity With Yoko Ono' from Playground Psychotics is undoubtedly in here somewhere. Frank Zappa gives the band lineup and talks to the interviewer in the background as the live song, 'Scumbag' is heard in the background.

This cuts off and we hear people calling in over the phone. 'Scumbag' starts up again and the mix continues. Frank speculates on the level of political and musical consciousness of his audience and the notion of playing for free.

Frank talks of America as 'Fad World' during the interview when John and Yoko was there. (This phrase 'fad world' was the inspiration for the NCN parody of 'Mad World' which can be found on the 'Straight Outta Klonopin' album which can be found here):

In the interview, Frank can be heard talking to John and Yoko with a recording of Yoko singing (the song from 'Playground Psychotics') in the background. The crowd at the Filmore East can be heard applauding. This segues into more clips of Zappa music and 'the people inside the piano' as mixed together. Ian Underwood introduces himself and tells about how he got chosen for the band. A caller plays samples of 'jammers' over the phone. A recording of The Mothers complaining to Frank that they are starving and need more money. We heard portions of the song 'Motherly Love', 'Hungry Freaks, Daddy' and 'Mr. Green Genes'. A mutated interview excerpt of Frank talking about music. The Frank Zappa expert says that 'Freak Out' was a type of 'collage' (this is a post-produced 'tweak' here where this word is emphasized through repetition and effect because the program you are hearing is also a 'collage'). Versions of the song, 'Downtown Talent Scout' is heard throughout this portion of the show. This part cuts off with an echo effect.

Footage of the Zappa / Lennon 'band' playing can be found on youtube here:
