about

This is the last track on the equivalent of Disk 1 of this program.

The Zappa experts talks about Zappa's music comparing it to a 'junk sculpture' and the R&B influences on it as well as Frank's association with Captain Beefheart. Portions of 'Absolutely Free' (the original song) are heard. A couple of instances of 'Hungry Freaks, Daddy' (from the first Zappa album 'Freak Out') are played over each other dominating the mix amidst other samples. More calls are taken. More of 'Hungry Freaks' is played, but distorted and the program fades out.
