Look What I've Brought

from The 1984 Remix Project by NCN

/

about

From the 1984 film, '1984' we hear Julia bring forbidden authentic food such as real coffee and tea, and chocolate and a tin of milk, to the secret room in the Proletariat territory that Winston Smith has rented for their tryst. A helicopter sound effect can be heard ominously in the background, almost subliminally.

A clip of the same scene from the audiobook is heard. This leads to a mix or 'weave' of material from the Audiobook for 1984 and the song 'Winston to Julia' (music & lyrics by Hailiah) which forms a remix of the song. The original can be found here:

The audiobook follows the couple as they go out into a natural, bucolic setting. The song ends with a gunshot.

lyrics

Unavailable but coherent in song, just listen....
