MTV Burns

from Idolic by NCN

about

From and interview with Frank Zappa, we hear him talking about how the music industry screwed themselves over by putting all their eggs in one basket during the 1980's and 1990's with MTV (Music Television). Over this is music from a Nine Inch Nails remix. We hear the opening of the song, 'Burn' by Nine Inch Nails from a radio show hosted by Trent Reznor. It was originally on the soundtrack for Natural Born Killers and has a video. We hear Trent Reznor talking about the strange locales for his studios, one of which was the site of the infamous Manson / Sharon Tate murders in the sixties. At the end, Frank proclaims his avante-garde-ness.
