New Wave Interim

from Mad or Bad: The Psychopath Remix by NCN

/

about

A couple of remixed and re-contextualized song clips from the new wave movement of the early 1980's (a heyday for psychopathic behavior, incidentally)... a clip of 'Tomorrow' by Wall of Voodoo signifying society's (and individuals') tendency to procrastinate on the problem of psychopathy which is mixed with a clip fro Coast to Coast AM this segues into Oingo Boingo's 'Reptiles and Samurai' mixed with further expert commentary on sociopaths. Carl Sagan and other scientists posit the R-complex of the brain, or 'reptilian brain' is the origin of predatorial and criminal impulses, as well as slavish devotions to authority, in humans. More commentary on the nature of psychopaths is mixed in with this song.

An re-contextualized and inherent part of this program, not available as a separate track.
