about

British commentator talks about what to do if you're in a relationship with a sociopath; A clip from the movie Casablanca (1942). This segues into a remix of the Ben E. King song 'Don't Play That Song'. The refrain 'You know that you lie' was heard as a sample quite a bit on Negativland's show 'Over the Edge' on KPFA and refers to the prevaricating nature of psychopaths in romantic relationships. A speaker talks about coping with stalkers in the foreground as the King songs fades out. Fading in, we hear a loop of Buddhist monk chanting in the background. The speaker speaks of Erotomania. Robert Hare describes the cold nature of the psychopath and their lack of emotion.
