At the beginning of this track we hear more biographical information about Fred Trump, Donald's Father, a pundit talking about Trump's older brother, Freddie Jr. (pictured, on this page) who died of alcoholism and who was the heir apparent to the Fred Trump business and fortune (as well as Mary Trump's father). We also hear 'The Young Turks' Cenk Uyger and Ana Kasparian discussing Mary Trump's first book on Donald Trump and their family, his dubious scholastic achievements, etc. This segues into a 'Teetotaler Trump' sequence which de-constructs his stance against drinking and drugs as a member of a dysfunctional family affected by alcoholism and times when he might have publicly 'slipped up' in this respect. A Trump expert and biographer weighs in on this.
After an interview clips of Donald's parents talking about Donald's childhood. This segues into actual news bulletins of the illness and death of his 71 year-old brother who died on August 15th, 2020. We hear some of the media fallout and criticism of this event and Donald's reaction to it (most effectively from 'The Majority Report w/ Sam Seder'). Since his brother Robert's death happened at the height of the covid crisis of 2020, and since at his age he would have been at risk for dying of the virus, and because (for some unknown reason) the cause of Robert Trump's death was never made public, it is heavily implied in these recordings, circumstantially, that Trump's brother did in fact die of covid. We hear a recording of Trump eulogizing his brother, and in the middle of it he starts talking about the coronavirus and how China is to blame. This is a 'non-sequitur' in the interview, since ostensibly there is no reason to bring the subject up.
One can appreciate the reason that, if Robert Trump did in fact die of covid, that the information not be released, as it would be information that could be used against the President and his controversial policies in the midst of the crisis.
We hear a sequence from the PBS Frontline Special 'The Choice 2020 - Trump vs. Biden' which speculates on Trump's abandonment by his mother when she got ill at an early stage of his development having an impact on his later distrust of women. This sequence segues into...
A mashup of the song 'The Thin Ice' by Pink Floyd from the Alan Parker Pink Floyd-The Wall (1982) and biographical material about Freddie Jr. in particular the abuse he faced from his and Donald's father (Fred Trump) over not measuring up enough to take over the Trump business because of his preference and desire to become a airline pilot, a very prestigious career to have at that point in history, but a choice which was mercilessly maligned by Fred Sr. and by extension Trump.
This segues into the next song in 'The Wall' which is 'Another Brick in the Wall Part I' in which, here, we hear the line, 'Daddy's flown... 'cross the ocean... leaving just a memory...' taking on a new meaning as it is mixed with Freddie Jr.'s daughter Mary Trump account of her father, now passed, trying to realize his dream of becoming a pilot, a decision which ultimately tragically led to his downfall.
The program that this track is a part of, 'THE APOCALYPSE OF DONALD J. TRUMP (Vol. 1): The Origin Story', was made in the early part of the summer of 2021 and was worked on over a number of months and streamed in developing form over NCN's live bi-weekly webcast.

The title's use of 'Origin Story' is a riff on a term given to film vehicles which are essentially prequels, often applied to cinematic villains (such as Darth Vader or The Joker) showing the audience 'how they got that way'. Since Donald J. Trump is literally almost a larger-than-life cinematic 'villain' (almost an amalgam of 'the main bad guy' in every Steven Segal movie ever made) we thought we would give him his own real-life 'origin story' told in our own psychedelic and artistic sound collage media mix form.
This mix might very well be eye-opening to those of you who think you 'know Trump' and most listeners are bound to learn most likely more than a little more about the 'making of this monster' by listening to this program.
