What a Rush (feat. Scumbag Bastard)

from Right Wing Radio Hell (2015 Mix) by NCN

/

about

A long track, possibly NSFW, montaging various pieces poking fun at the American right's attitude toward drugs: particularly documenting (and making fun of) the hypocrisy behind controversial radio host Rush Limabaugh's drug addiction and his rationalizations about it in light of his demonization of similar sorts of drug users in his program.

Much of this track is an augmented version of a collage by Scumbag Bastard (called Prescription Drugs) but also borrows from Clif Roth's 'The Reagans Speak Out on Drugs' and Sen. Al Franken's 'My Drugs are Red White & Blue'. These elements are presented in a conversational composition type of form. The George W. Bush collage called 'Drugs and Alcohol' is by The Lorin Swelk Orchestra.

We also hear clips of Phineas Narco briefly imitating Rush Limbaugh on KPFA and an NCN mod of a clip from The Phil Hendrie Show in which he plays with a caller who calls into the station to complain about Rush Limbaugh's show time being moved.

For more information on Phil Hendrie see: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Phil_Hendrie_Show. We hear parts of Oxycontin Eater by Bob Rivers mixed up with this section.
