about

An augmented version of the Cannibalism collage from the unreleased NCN program 'Cannibalism': Clips from Alive (1993) and Monty Python's Flying Circus' 'Cannibalism Sketch' along with an instruction on cooking is heard over music and the song 'Shortening Bread' (traditional). Otis plays 'When I saw God He was a vending machine...'. Leil Lowndes again sprinkled throughout. A monologue by Richard France from 'Dawn of the Dead' (1978) is heard here and there throughout the latter half of the mix. A song advertising snacks in the intermission of a 1950's era movie program is heard mixed with other samples and sound effects in the mix. Instruction (with effects) on proper food handling is heard. Rod Steiger (from 'The Loved One') (1965) 'It becomes like a nightmare' is heard at the end.
