Comedy Sketch Weave

from They Saved Zappa's Moustache by NCN & Negativland

/

about

This is an experimental 'weave' or 'conversational composition' of two comedy bits done by Frank and The Mothers of Invention, live on stage. Don plays a mutated laughing samples throughout this***. Another musical piece by Zappa is played intermittently through this mix.

The original version of the 'going through customs' sketch is from the Zappa live double-album 'You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore Vol. 5'. While the matched sketch (or monologue) 'Tiny Sick Tears' is from 'You Can't Do That on Stage Anymore Vol. 4'.

***Samples from the 'Monstrous Joke' (Symphony of Death radio serial) constitute the laughing samples. This radio serial was sampled also on Negativland's album 'Helter Stupid'.
