about

This starts off with a continuation of President's now-ironic comments criticizing and mocking the wearing of masks, a practice long-recommended by experts to slow or prevent the spread of the covid-19 virus but which was resisted by Trump and many of his followers as the virus killed over 200,000 citizens by October 2nd, 2020 when it was announced that President Trump had contracted the virus.

This is a remix of the song 'The Wretched'. The song is by Nine Inch Nails and came out in 1999 on their album 'The Fragile'. It is a song about disappointment, downfall, failure and comeuppance. For more information on this song go here:

This remix of The Wretched by NCN was inspired by the announcement of President Donald Trump's coronavirus infection on October 2nd, 2020. It opens with a continuation of Trump mask-mocking samples from NowThis News.

During the bridge of the song, we hear the sound of a hospital respirator in the mix along with voice of Trump panickedly yelling the words "I can't breathe!" over and over as NIN frontman sings the words "Now... You know... This is what it feels like!' repeatedly, building in intensity. Reznor's vocals and music build to a crescendo eventually drowning out all other sounds.

Near the end of the song, over its ending music, we hear the voice of a commentator from Inside Edition speculating on public reaction to the news.
