Slack Change - Part 1 (Extended Version)

from Party in my Mind by NCN

/

about

Phineas reads 'If' by Rudyard Kipling amidst samples, effects and background music. A version of the iconic 'The Times They Are A-Changin'' by Bob Dylan, made to sound like a church hymn (as it turned out): slowed down and echoed with added sound effects in the background. The echoed 'piano' is actually a guitar. A slowed down recording of Subgeniuses at Burning Man comes into the mix ('We are in the middle of nowhere'). This element speeds up and then is heard in near-normal speed and in a layered fashion. Stang says "Let "Bob" smoke you!. A version of this track is heard in the 'Occupations' program. This is the Extended version.
