about

This is a nearly 40 minute long psychedelic and satirical political collage compilation piece all about the third and current wife of President Donald J. Trump, the current First Lady of The United States: Melania Trump.

From the dubious legality of Slovenia native Melania Trump's own immigration status (spoofed in the track in an edited depiction, done by Vic Berger in which Trump announces to Melania to great fanfare and to a wildly cheering crowd that she will be deported under his administration's new illegal immigration crackdown), to her actual real-life professionally produced photographs of her showing full frontal nudity and lesbian sex, she is no stranger to controversy.

This collage piece takes on the following Melania-related controversies: 1. her plagiarization of former First Lady Michelle Obama's and Obama era writings, 2. her lecturing to children through her awkwardly titled 'Be Best' initiative (hilariously deconstructed musically here by the inimitable Randy Rainbow) through which she essentially advises them to not behave the way her own husband does, 3. her defensive rationalizations of Donald's chronic philandering and admissions of sexual assaults on women that go back some 30 years, 4. Her wearing of a jacket which bore the words 'I DON'T REALLY CARE, DO YOU?' while visiting the forcibly separated children of refugees being held in cages inside of detention camps which many have called 'concentration camps' due to a policy instituted by her husband, 5. her declaration of 'who gives a fuck about Christmas stuff and decorations?' on tape after her husband spent so much time painting him and his family as champions in his much touted 'War on Christmas' during his 2016 political campaign.

The structural basis for this long track was a piece called 'The Long Melania Set' which appeared in our program webcast on our biweekly stream on August 23rd, 2020 called 'Staying Alive'. Since Melania was in the news again after contracting covid-19 along with her husband President Trump, we expanded at that time upon that original set. The basis for it, was the audio of a video by Vic Berger called 'The Best of of Melania' which can be found here:

We have augmented and updated that Berger piece by adding in another more recent piece by Berger called 'Melania wants Don, Jr. to #BeBest' as well as some exposition on the jacket controversy by Stephen Colbert, a piece by Loop-n-Mix called 'Be Best', excerpts from a segment by Brian Tyler Cohen playing and commenting on the controversial taped statements made by Melania about Christmas, a CBS This Morning piece explicating Melania's 'Be Best' initiative and its attendant controversies, a piece by Maurice Spears called 'Locker Room Talk ft. Donald Trump "Boy Talk REMIX"', and a couple of spoof interview videos by Internet sensation Randy Rainbow who produced a couple of 'interview' videos with Melania which he edited to make it appear like he was actually talking with her, to great comic effect. The first one that appears in this track is called 'Be Best' in which Randy Rainbow also sings a rousingly devastating musical number, the video for which can be found here:

the second is all 'interview', the video of which can be found here:
